Bradley is a self-taught artist originally hailing from Kansas City, MO although he and his family have called Albuquerque home for the last nine years. He, his wife, and five children love New Mexico for its scenery, culture, and cuisine.
Utilizing his background in graphic design, Bradley attempts to translate what he sees into stripped down, minimalist patterns, communicating as much as possible with as little as possible. He is influenced by the work of such mid-century luminaries as Alexander Girard, Charley Harper, and Charles and Ray Eames. Their devotion to simplicity, color, and the joy of life are an inspiration. He also acknowledges a debt to folk artists everywhere but most especially to those of Latin America.
Bradley has been a featured artist at the Zozofest art show, and is an award-winning designer. He owns and operates Maxwell Crawford Design Studio which can be found on Facebook and Instagram.
